Tigo contains no polycarbonate or bisphenol-A

There's a lot of talk about plastic bottles these days. Which ones are safe? Which ones are BPA-free? One of the reasons you drink tea is for its health benefits, so you'd want to make sure the container you drink it from is safe too!

Well you can rest assured that Tigo Filter Cup has no parts made of polycarbonate plastic, and therefore contains no bisphenol-A (BPA), a stabilizer used in the manufacture of polycarbonate. Tigo Filter Cup is made of SAN, an FDA-approved plastic that has been used for decades in the manufacture of food containers and household products. The clear plastic parts of your food processors, blenders, pitchers, and other servingware are likely made of SAN. Like polycarbonate, SAN is known for its high heat resistance and unbreakability. But unlike polycarbonate, SAN does not use BPA in its manufacture.
